BrightSign player settings

This section is an add-on to the common player settings and describes all the BrightSign player specific settings.

Device

Synchronize Zones
Synchronize on different zones the contents of a channel. A zone can be assigned to many channels and as default, each zone plays its contents not in sycn with the others. Enabling this settings, the player identifies for each channel the ‘master’ zone, that has longest contents to diplay in time. Until the master zone is playing, the other zones repeat their contents. Only when the master zone ends the contents, all the zones go to the next channel.

Social Messages

These settings allow to customize the Social Message content. This is a special content that is displayed automatically every a number of content. 

Timeline durationDetermines how long each pages is displayed before to show the next content.

Display period
Determines the number of contents showns before the Social Messages content.

Sequence of
Determines how many Social Messages are displayed in sequence before to show the next content.

Background image
Set the image used as background of Social Messages. The images is scaled to the zone without maintaining the aspect ratio. In case of none images, a gradient blue background is used as default

Text color
Determines the foreground color used by text elements.

Ticker

Determines the behaviour of the scrolling text, named Ticker.

Color
Set the text foreground color.

Background color
Set the background color and its transparency.

Speed
Set the scrolling text speed between the following values: slow, normal, fast.

Clock

Determines the appearance of the clock/date widget

Color
Set the text foreground color.

Background color
Set the background color and its transparency.
