Raspberry Player Installation
After downloading the image here, you need to flash it on the microSD card.
You can use any software you want, but we recommend using Raspberry Pi Imager.
You can download it here:
Raspberry Pi Downloads – Software for the Raspberry Pi
This software is very easy to use, you only need to select the downloaded image:
- – click on the “Choose OS” button
- – select “Use custom image” (it’s usually the last option on the list)
Then you need to select the microSD with the “Choose SD Card” button and finally you can write the image on the card by clicking on the “Write” button.
The process usually takes a few minutes, but could be longer depending on your system configuration.
Once the write process is finished you can insert the card into the Raspberry Pi 4 and turn it on.
WallSign player will automatically start a few seconds after the system boot.
N.B.
It’s usually recommended to update the WallSign player installed with the image by using the WallSign Dashboard.
