Common player settings

The player settings panel allows to setup the device resolution, orientation and how each content can be displayed.

Device

Resolution
Set the device output resolution or let to device to auto detect it. Some listed resolution may be not supported by all devices.

Orientation
Set the device orientation. This setting is not supported by LS BrightSign devices.

Custom visibile area
Set the rectangle area that will contain the graphics. Usually the visible area matches with the resolution, but often it is used when the devices is connected to a LedWall that has custom resolution. The visible area is a rectangle and the user can set its size and location x,y.

Logo

Determines the logo image and its placement on the screen, The logo image can be selected between the images uploaded into the cloud storage.

Images 

Timeline and display mode
Set how long and how each image is displayed into azone:

• Center Image: Centers the image without scaling. This may result in cropping if the image is too large.
• Scale to Fit: Scales the image to fit the zone. The image is displayed as large as possible while keeping the correct aspect ratio.
• Scale to Fill and crop: Scales the image to completely fill the zone while maintaining the aspect ratio.
• Scale to Fill: Scales the image to fill the zone without maintaining the aspect ratio.

Video

Determines how videos will be scaled to fit in the zone. This option has no effect if the video and the zone are the same size.

• Scale to Fill: Scales the video to fill the zone without maintaining the aspect ratio. The video may appear stretched.
• Letterboxed and Centered: Centers the video and adds black borders on the top and bottom. The aspect ratio is maintained.
• Fill Screen and Centered: Centers the video and fills the zone. The aspect ratio is maintained, so the video may be cropped if required.

Timeline duration
Determines how long each pages is displayed before to show the next content.

Social Messages

These settings allow to customize the Social Message content. This is a special content that is displayed automatically every a number of content. 

Timeline duration

Display period
Determines the number of contents showns before the Social Messages content.

Sequence of
Determines how many Social Messages are displayed in sequence before to show the next content.

Background image
Set the image used as background of Social Messages. The images is scaled to the zone without maintaining the aspect ratio. In case of none images, a gradient blue background is used as default

Text color
Determines the foreground color used by text elements.

Weather

These settings allow to customize the Weather content.

Display duration
Determines how long each weather forecast are displayed before to show the next content.

Foreground and Background color
Set the colors used as background and foreground.

News

These settings allow to customize the News content.

Display duration
Determines how long each weather forecast is displayed before to show the next content.

Sequence of
Determines how many news are displayed in sequence before to show the next content.

Display the latest news from
Set the time span beyond which the news are no longer displayed.

Font size
Set the size of the font used to display the news

Text

These settings allow to customize the Text content.

Display duration
Determines how long each text is displayed before to show the next content.
