The Http Event specifies the action that occurs when a specific Http request is sent to a specific endpoint provided by WallSign and the redirect to the player. For this reason the internet connection is always required.
Each event is described by the action that will trigger the event.
The Http request is a POST and with a body that contains the action name.
For more information, please ask us.
Use case
This kind of source allows to 3rd part system to interact with the screen without any required hardware interface or local network connection. So for instance, a mobile application based on the user interaction, could play a content on the screen simply sending an Http request. Or a facial recognition system can play different content according with the identified person.
