Install WallSign on NEC Display with Raspberry

In order to install WallSign on NEC display you need to connect to the NEC computer module using the RPI Boot software: please follow this guide.

Once that the Computer module has been connected as external storage, follow this steps to write the WallSign Raspberry image on it:

  • Turn off the power of the computer module using the DIsplay menu settings.
  • Move to OFF the switch placed on the computer module: this will enable the writing on it
  • Turn on the power of the computer module using the DIsplay menu settings.

Download the WallSign RaspBerry PI image here and follow this steps in flash the image on the Compute module.

Once the image has been written you need to disable the writing on the compute module:

  • Turn off the power of the computer module using the DIsplay menu settings.
  • Move to ON the switch placed on the computer module: this will disable the writing on it
  • Turn on the power of the computer module using the DIsplay menu settings.

Switch the NEC Display to Computer module source to see WallSign running.

NOTE: Use the Display settings menu to the set Compute module as default source when the display turns on.
